She is taking courses for a degree and she tells her mother she is staying strong.

They pay the police for "insurance". In some cases, they're actually selling the police's own stash. Personally, I don't care even though I live in that neighbourhood. People should be far more concerned that alcohol screws up 1000s of times more people and families than cocaine yet it's available for sale in every 7-11 and every unlicensed beer stall on Lower Sukhumvit.

Her mother whinges" she has no sanitary towels" did not hear her show concern about the harm the drugs her daughter was smuggling would do to others.

The most obvious is the "African drug dealers" are either paying for police protection or the police don't want to go after them for some other unknown reason. Those people would be easy targets for immigration or the police.

I assume they get help from family and friends, no money sent from family in South Africa? no consular visits? I just do not understand why Thailand goes to to the trouble and expense of keeping and feeding these criminals, can they not send them back to where they came from to serve their time? Who you are you going to catch? The greeter that asks you what you want; he won’t have anything on him. The cashier that takes your money; he won’t have anything on him either. The pointer that points to the garbage can where you’ll find what you just ordered? And as others have mentioned once you go higher up in the chain of command protection is paid and as long as everybody gets a slice it’ll be business as usual. The police sometimes do a sweep and round up the whole lot but once passports are produced they have to let go of the majority again because same as all the other riff raff most of them have up to date visas be it marriage visas, ED visa etc. Major quantities of drugs are rarely confiscated during those raids. Seelow
Maybe now the army is in charge they will rid BKK of these vermin in the same way they are cleaning up Phuket, and breaking up taxi/resteraunt mafias that have controlled the island for so long. I would send narcotic agents to supervise a CI in makeing maybe three controlled buys with marked notes. The CI would be wired to record the transactions. Once you identify the people involved in selling drugs, you take them into custody. Once in custody, invariably one or two will give useful information. Lock up who you can and deport the rest. When the ones who you previously locked up finishes their sentences, you deport them. Basically, you keep repeating the above mentioned procedure. It is sort of being like an exterminator. Cockroaches will be with us until the end of time. That doesn't mean you don't try to eliminate them when they enter your home.

Be careful what you wish for. Today, you ask for extra judicial means to get rid of someone who may deserve it. Tomorrow, extra judicial means could be used to get rid of someone who may not deserve it. T

gchurch259
I fly to a lot of countries where the penalty is Capital Punishment, which it should be !! I also believe users should have three times and your out,Capital Punishment. There is no reason to pay the cost of imprisonment for some other countries low lifes. I think Thailand needs to be much more careful who/what nationals they accept into this country.
