Easy Non-Immigrant O Visa foreign husband

Featured Replies

Hi!

I am a woman, from Portugal, and my also foreign husband is here on a work permit. We are recently married and so I'm taking care of the process to apply for a non-immigrant o visa through his work.

The thing is that I already have an ED visa on my passport as well as a couple of tourist visas plus 30 day visa exemption on arrival, therefore I was wondering which is the most hassle free place to apply for the non-immigrant o. I have all the documents and everything required but am a little scared they'll tell me I've been here as a tourist for too long.

I thought about HK at first but now read here that Savannakhet is straight forward so would love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you!

Do your have a ED visa entry now?

You will non have a problem getting a single entry non-o visa because it will be supported by the documents you are using to get it. You will not be considered a tourist.

Vientiane would be a good location to get it.

No, I am now on a 30 day visa exemption on arrival

I asked about the ED because if you had one you could apply for the dependent extension with it.

Oh that sounds easier but unfortunately my ED visa was last year. Thanks anyway
