August 25, 201411 yr One thing worth. remembering here is our Monitor Quality. My best P.C. makes a big difference. but all 3 are newish.LCD. LED whatever . Ive looked at Dancelots Pic,and thought Erm, Not Bad,but my Hi End Graphic Card and Monitor at home shows a fine shot. Just a Thought....
August 25, 201411 yr Popular Post Monitor quality does not enter the equation. Calibration and unity with the viewer is the critical factor. Kodak and Hewlitt Packard jointly devised the colour space sRGB purely to compensate for the acknowledged fact that most viewers would be using an uncalibrated screen and/or viewing with a non colour recognising browser. You can have the latest all singing whatever, but if you're ignoring these two points it's academic. Here's the test: http://regex.info/blog/photo-tech/color-spaces-page2 Passed?
