Just recently I brought an espresso machine and separate coffee-grinder back from Europe.

No problem whatsoever.

At check-in in Paris CDG I informed them of the contents and they even put some extra stickers "Handle with care" on my suitcase !

I've brought back lots of electrical stuff. Last trip was waffle iron.
