Recently i was at the Sirigit dam, hqrdly any flow in the river downstream.

Going to Nan from there on the beautiful highway towards the ferry.mgetting there there was no water to be seen. Only a sleeping man. So back to Nam Pat.

Here in Ban Phe Rayong plenty of thunderstorm warnings and dark clouds but not much rain.

If it rains it doesn't immediately flow into the water systems of industry or even the reservoirs that supply domestic use.even if it lands in the right place!........and as said even after successful gathering and storage it is often lost in distribution.

I planned ahead, the locals thought I was nuts, two wells 80metres deep, one one rai pond 8 metres deep, Ill be selling em water soon!!

Wife at bottom of hole for scale

Now THAT"S a pond !!!! How well does the soil seal? I know a friend of mine with

a large piece of property. Whenever he digs a new pond, always a bit tricky to

stop the water from seeping out...

Lots of concern but not much action by the government. Not sure what to think. Plenty of time for rain but if the

amount is vastly below average (like California) the bigger issues will be next dry season. blink.png

Whilst down in Pathum Thani they were warning there would be floods, so why not send every tanker truck in the country, fill it with the water that might flood PT and take it to the dry areas ? Win win. But that would be too simple wouldnt it......

Simple?

It would take 1,000's of tanker trucks.

Did you need planning permission......the locals might not be so happy when they realise you're siphoning off their water table.

Hope you've checked it for contaminant s too.

They'll find her.

You'll go to jail.

Should have gone deeper.

In Nakhon Nayok approximately 4 hours rain in the last 8 months.

rain isn't measured in hours...it's measured in metres.

This has little or nothing to do with your immediate access to water though.
