The Social Security Office's Purchase Of Wattachak Building Is Claimed To Be Transparent

The Social Security Office's purchase of Wattachak Building is claimed to be transparent

Social Security Office (SSO) Secretary-General Pairoj Suksamrit (ไพโรจน์ สุขสัมฤทธิ์) insists the purchase of Wattachak (วัฏจักร) Building is transparent and the property is worth an investment.

Mr. Pairoj said SSO has strictly followed the law before signing a deal with Property Seven Co. to buy the building for 389 million baht.

He said the building will be used as SSO Region 6 and a labour training and computer centre. All these facilities should be opened late this year.

Mr. Pairoj said the price of the building was inexpensive considering its added value in the future as SSO planned to put the auditorium and some office spaces for rent.

He added that the building will initially belong to the Treasury Department but related laws will later be amended to hand over the ownership to SSO.
