Just did a Vias Run . I was rather surprised to find the gave me a full month.

I did not require as only needed a few days as my flight is a few days after my 30 day visa expired. Sod's law. I guess if I needed it I would only get two weeks

You must be from a G7 country since you got 30 days.

You had a flight booked, so no reason they wouldn't give you the standard amount of 30 days. Nothing has changed for genuine tourists.
