anyone has an idea about visa crossing border for Lebaneese coming from Malysia

Featured Replies

hello friends..

i want to confirm about something pls, i am travelling in December to Malysia for tourist purpose and from there i will cross the border to Thailand through Bukit Kayu Hitam checkpoint for 9 days then will fly to vietnam from Chiang Rai.

am i going to be allowed to enter with my Lebanese passport or maybe getting an entry visa from there????

anybody can help me with someone i can contact and ask about this issue ?

what if i want to go by ferry to Phuket (Ao Makham, AoChalong) will i also be allowed to enter or get an entry visa ??

thanks so much

The only way you can enter Thailand is with a tourist visa obtained from Thai embassy or consulae. You do not qualify for a visa exempt entry or visa on arrival.

Sorry friend..

i am not leaving in lebanon i am living in Ibadan - Nigeria ...

hope you get any information about the consulate here ...

i know the royal embassy is in abuja and it is too difficult to reach it as i mention in my previous reply..

i dont know if you get any information if there is a consulate for them in lagos .

thanks Again

Abuja is the only place in Nigeria. Perhaps you could do a mail in application. Many embassies allow that.

You could possibly get the visa in Malaysia at the embassy in KL or one of the the two consulates.

See this webpage for a listing of all Thai embassies and official consulates with a link for their websites. http://www.thaiembassy.org/main/

If you are in Nigeria try the http://www.thaiembassynigeria.com/eng/

They should be able to give you an answer on the spot if you have to return to Beirut to get your visa or of you have to just stay in Malaysia.

Any citizen or residence of Nigeria must have the following documents if applying for a visa to the Royal Thai consulate in Nigeria.

a. The Certificate of Clearance from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Nigeria (NDLEA)

b. Certificate of Criminal Clearance issued by the Nigerian police

c. The original bank statement (for the last 6 months) and the letter of reference issued by the authorized bank officer/manager.

d. International Health Certificate on Yellow Fever Vaccination

e. Confirmed return air ticket paid in full.

f. A residence certificate that you are permitted to stay in Nigeria. If not you must return to your home country to apply.

g. Finally a prepaid hotel reservation, paid in advance and in the full amount. A hotel email will not do that your room is confirmed.

A flight to Laos is around 250 USD from Abuja and the visa takes around 4-5 days to process if you are an official resident of Nigeria.

Hope the infos help.
