New Thai Embassy Website

Featured Replies

In the past various Embassy's I'd dealt with had a variety of web site domains, so government, many just a local domain, and the web sites all looked different.

Also as many here know the requirements varied considerably,

I have just found

http://www.thaiembassy.org/main/

And looking at a few country web sites, the information is now consistent, and updated August 1, 2014.

Not a bad thing I think, some Embassy's in the past had been too easy, some too hard, now it will be a more even playing field I hope,

Wow, they're fast :)

I have used that website for a long time and have it bookmarked. They have improved it over the years.

I am not sure all the embassy websites are all that good. Some have no info on them or merely provide a link to the MFA website and others are entirely in Thai.

A Q here: Is this collection of www sites "official," that is, officially sponsored by the Thai Government?

I note it's an ".org" rather than a ".gov" www site.
