Airlines for Bkk to Las (Las Vegas)

Featured Replies

Anyone make a trip back to the USA lately? I'm looking for Business Class tix. I want to leave mid Sep for 21 days and I checked the prices today and they are much, much higher than when I checked 4-5 months ago. I usually go with United, but Delta seems to have better pricing, but I don't know what the Bus Class seating is like or food or the service is on Delta.

Any feedback would be appreciated on any airline flown recently.

Thanks All.

cathay sent out a sale on business class tickets a few days ago, see if its still running.

I often fly Delta biz class to PDX (Portland) or LAX, occasionally JFK. Going to Vegas, you will likely need a short domestic flight from a left coast city (SEA, PDX, SFO or LAX).

Delta from BKK to NRT is on a 747, biz class is very nice lie-flat seats (pods, really, with massive AVOD screens), especially great getting the nose section if travelling as a couple. The section to LAX is also a 747, but I think the others are often 767, which is new, flat seats, but not quite as nice. Overall, delta is quite ok, and BKK to PDX or LAX in 16-17 hours (including NRT stop) is pretty nice. Of course, you should check Seatguru for actual seat reviews, but overall I have been pretty satisfied with Delta to the West coast or NYC, bearing in mind that as a US airline you will offen get surly, granny aircrew (typical for US carriers -- no SIA standards here). Good luck, I do the US trip a couple of times per year, will also probably do a Vegas stopover my next trip in September.

FWIW, I think my last ticket was in the US$3.5k/ea range (May depart, June return), so you should get something near that for LAS if you keep your dates flexible.
