sustento
Has anyone applied for a tourist visa from London recently? It used to be that you had to supply a an SAE for return of your passport after the visa had been issued but now I see from the Embassy website that you have to pay an extra £10 for return - just likes the Consulates used to charge. Anyone know if they use Special Delivery or just ordinary post?
baboon
I have had two from them so far this year. No questions, no drama, even though my reason for visit was 'visit wife.' Unless it has changed in the last few weeks, you do have to supply a S.A.E - this requirement is buried in the blurb. It takes about 3-4 days to be returned. Good luck! B1ade
I did it in June and I had to include a pre-paid special delivery SAE
sustento
If you look at page 2 at 2.2.2 it no longer mentions an SAE just the £10 extra. http://thaiembassyuk.org.uk/annie/file/visa%20application2014.pdf
apiwan
You send it to them in one of those blue/grey special delivery bags. And in side that another special delivery bag SAE. Which you pay the postage in advance based on weight of PP and bag. They put a address sticker on the reverse when sending back to you. Get it back pretty lively Sent from my SM-N9005 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
sustento
Did any of you have to pay the extra £10 that's mentioned on the latest application form? Edited July 16, 2014 by sustento
sustento
Just spoken to the Embassy. You no longer have to send an SAE. You pay an extra £10 on the top of your visa cost and they send it back Special Delivery.
