July 16, 201411 yr First Renovation of Non Immigrant Visums O/A for german national over 65 years old. Which proof of income is required? In accordance to the Thai embassy in Berlin the opening of a local account in Thailand is not required anymore. Does a copy of bank statement will do? or the thai immigration office will ask for some sort of certification? The german embassy may certify my pension but not my total income because my principal account is not located in Germany (During the last 35 years I have lived outside the EU).

July 17, 201411 yr If you are asking about getting an extension of stay at immigration the money must be in a Thai bank. Info on embassy website is for OA visa from them. If you income is less than 65k baht you can combine your total annual income with money in the bank to reach a total of 800K baht.
