Dual Nationality - getting around the visa run problem?

Featured Replies

I have 2 passports Aus and UK

I guess I could fly to Vientianne, get multiple entry tourist visa on one PP. When that runs out, get another in my other passport. And repeat? Ive never been asked if i have 2 nationalities by immigration. So that would give me months inbeteen visas in any one passport.

Other idea i had was posting my passport to overseas consulate (not the passport i am currently in thailand on). Get the visa and in and out at a land border or possibly local air trip if land border is problem (they always look at your entry/exit stamp.. whereas at airport you could have flown in from your home country)

Think it will work?

Immigration has it database and people have reported that immigration spotted that a person was using two different passports.
