Multiple Entry Visa, 90 days report

Featured Replies

i should report my 90days on june 14, 2014 in immigration, but last May i went to another country for vacation so they gave me a stamp when i arrived in Thailand 22 april 2014 until 20 july 2014, so i didnt do my 90days last june 14, 2014 because i was starting counting from 22 april 2014 to 20 july 2014 to do my 90days report in immigration.
my questions is, should i report last june 14 or am i start counting my 90days report last april 22,2014 to do my 90days report?

You only do a 90 day report if you stay for 90 consecutive days in Thailand, without leaving. Each time you enter Thailand again, you start counting again from day 1.

With a multiple visa you do not do 90 day reports (unless it is a multiple O-A visa) till you get an extension of stay/

Hi

I have a similar question regarding multi entry visa.

I have a work permit, but due to personal reasons i could not do a 90 day report. Normally I don't need to do because I travel a lot for my work so I am in an out of Thailand almost every 2 month.

However, I was counting my days since last time I entered Thailand and it turns out that I actually had to report today. I have never done the 90 days report before so I wonder what are the consequences now?

i have multiple Visa with working permit, my multiple entry visa (Non-immigrant) date issued 3 March 2014 enter before 2MArch 2015 then they gave me a stamp like march 4 2014 until 1june 2014 and a paper that shows i need to notify on 14 june 2014, but i didnt notify last june 14 because i went to another country last may and comeback here in thailand last april, so my new stamp is admitted 22april 2014 until 20 july 2014, so i need to go to border this coming july 20, let me summarize. i didnt do my 90days notification last june14 because i was starting my count when i arrived in thailand last april 22 2014. so i will go to border this coming july 20 and do my 90days report on monday july 21.

None, there is a grace period, so if you go on Friday or Monday you should be fine. Worse case is usually a 2,000 Baht fine. Also, you may want to ask about doing the 90 day reports by mail if your office supports that.

Thanks, I will get cracking on it right away.

If you have a multiple entry visa other than an O-A, you don't have to do a 90 day address report.

You have to leave the country.

i have multiple Visa with working permit, my multiple entry visa (Non-immigrant) date issued 3 March 2014 enter before 2MArch 2015 then they gave me a stamp like march 4 2014 until 1june 2014 and a paper that shows i need to notify on 14 june 2014, but i didnt notify last june 14 because i went to another country last may and comeback here in thailand last april, so my new stamp is admitted 22april 2014 until 20 july 2014, so i need to go to border this coming july 20, let me summarize. i didnt do my 90days notification last june14 because i was starting my count when i arrived in thailand last april 22 2014. so i will go to border this coming july 20 and do my 90days report on monday july 21.

If you go to the border you will have left the country!

The visa you are on means you MUST leave the country on day 90, therefore you NEVER need to do a 90 day report.

The need to do a 90 day report only applies to people who do NOT have to leave every 90 days. As you have to leave every 90 days, you never stay MORE than 90 consecutive days in Thailand therefore you never incur the obligation to do a 90-day report.

Stop worrying about it- it doesn't apply to you!

Thank you now i understand. so i will go to neighboring country for a new stamp for another 90days stay in Thailand, should i stay for 1 day in neighboring country or i can go back immediately in Thailand?

You can come back right away after having entered and left another country.
