My thai riance should be coming over to the U.S. in about four months and we wanted to bring over the dog as well. She is about four months old now and all he shots are up to date (the shots are so darn cheap it disgusts me that all dogs don't have their shots!). The dog will have her paperwork (shot records) ready when the times come. What do I have to do to get her a ticket for the U.S. (the dog) and how hard will it be? Also, I thought of getting her fixed while still in Thailand but I was told I should wait until I get to the U.S. Any help would be great. Maybe BambinA can throw some of her wisdom at me.

Try contacting the US embassy, they should have all import and quarantine rules.

But, if I remember correctly, as long as the dog has had all their shots and is examined by a vet in the US and pronounced healthy quarantine is in home. I may be wrong so be sure to check it out.

Every state has some quarantine requirements for bringing pets to the home state. And some states have more tight quarantine rules for dogs, like Hawaii. I think it is best that you google it first.
