Passport Expiring(British)

Hi

My Passport is expiring in 7 months. Where do I apply for a new one? I've heard conflicting things. Should I apply now?

Do I have to physically be without a passport? If so, what about renewing my visa and the 90 day reporting?

If you don't need to travel I'd apply right now, there have been long delays recently and you won't lose any validity time in applying early. You apply in person in Bangkok at VFS (lots of threads about this on TV). You keep your old passport for ID purposes, but it is cancelled for travel once the application gets to the UK.

You can apply for it at any time and you get up to 9 months added to your new one from the validity of the old one.

There is now an option now to get a free 12 month extension if you have 3 blank pages remaining.
