Re entry after working period

Featured Replies

I have been 6 times in past year in Thailand with 30 days stamp.

Now I have chance to work there few months, with work permit of course.

But I was thinking the time after this working period.
Can there be problems to entry with tourist visa just after work permit is expired?

Or do they think that maybe I still working without work permit?

predicting the future is not my best point.

But normally you should be fine. A lot of people return on a tourist visa or visa exempt entry after their work is completed. To look for a new job, get things sorted before returning home, etc.

I'm planning to come to Thailand couple of times with visa exempt before my work starts.

What if they deny my entry to country. Does it affect to my work permit process?

Or to my upcoming entries after the work?

If I was working in immigration and someone comes to show me passport where is first 8 exempts, then denial and then short working period, and after that he is trying to come country again with visa exempt, I would think twice that what this person is coming to do.

You are thinking too much.

Have the right paperwork, you will not be denied. End.

"What if they deny my entry to country. Does it affect to my work permit process?"

Yes, it would.
