daoyai Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 One of the best things about CM is the variety of fruit, but surprising to me are the many varieties of tropical fruit not yet available here. A good example are guavas, there are the big green skin white variety but not the many varieties of smaller tastier ones. A great fruit I miss from my home is Mamey Sapote, has anyone seen this for sale anywhere or know of someone with a tree? I see sapodillas available often but I want sapote. You also sometimes see them in Warorort kind of caddy-corner to the 7-11 just at the side entrance to the big building. In Thai they're called lamut = ละมุด.
