Online Shopping in Thailand

Featured Replies

I don't know if this is the right place but here we go in 'General Topics'.

When I want to buy something up country it is nearly impossible without a trip to a bigger city blah blah blah.

I'm sure you CANNOT post the websites or links but what about the names of good companies that could be easily searched for using a search engine to speed things up.

For example, Today I found a peach of a site using this very forum.

If I was in the market for a specialist beer then a company named 'wishbeer' has some good choices from around the world.

Can we have a place for online stores without plugging them or giving them lots of free advertisement.

Things along the lines of,

Gifts

Sporting goods

Clothing

Car and bike goods

Food and drink

Anything that you can think of, just a simple explanation of what the company does and a name to search for.

PLEASE - NO reviews or abuse of companies.

I hope this is OK.

Cheers

I occasionally use Lazada who I find pretty reliable these days. They're a kind of department store who sell almost everything by the looks of it.

You need to change the language to English by clicking the link at the top unless you read Thai : http://www.lazada.co.th

They accept credit cards and also offer a cash on delivery option.

I only really use them to bulk order a few hundred 'coffee capsules' every couple of months for my coffee making machine.

You can order on Bangkok personal shopping website ???

What is this service ?

I could perhaps use someone to run errands for me and Bangkok and then EMS the goods to Hua Hin.

I have used Lazada at least 4 times now over the last year. Small inexpensive to very expensive products. All facets of the service worked extremely well including the cash on delivery option. Other than InvadeIT this is by far the best online shopping experience in Thailand for me.

I recently used Lazada for the first time and was pleased the order was fulfilled perfectly, including the COD option.  It's interesting to me that although service standards in Thailand are poor overall there are organizations that consistently do an excellent job in which number I would include St. Louis Hospital and Tops supermarkets.
