Hi, I am a bit confused (aren't we all?). I need to apply for my 90 day extension of stay and have a few questions. I checked the immigration departments maps on the official thread but the links do not seem to working, and the official website is, well.....

1) I am residing in Bangkok and previously went to Imperial World near Lad Phrao for the extension. My classmate informed me that I now need to go to Chaeng Wattana. That's ok, but are there any other options closer to the city area?

2) I recently moved condo. Do I need to report this, and if so, what documents do I need?

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure about question 1 but yes if you moved your are supposed to report this

if you are on an ED visa you need to do the following

1. Put your new address on the forms

2. Make a copy of your new lease

3. and I know my school requires you to have a photo of you outside your building, outside your door and in your room

if you move after your 90 check in you dont have to report it until your next 90 check in

on a side not you think your school itself would help you on where best to go and the procedures:)

Have you told your school you move ?

As they need to put your correct information (Your address) in the paperwork they make for you.

So that have same address is on school paper and you TM. 7

Have you rapport to you local police station or Immigration that your have move address (inside 24 hours after your move) use TM.28 ?

I am not sure if Bangkok is strict about this, but i live in Nonthaburi (Next to Bangkok) are here you get fine if not rapport it. I got a warning first time, as i did like everyone told me, put in my new address when do my next 90 days Extension, So i got a warning, And i all ways rapport inside 24 hours now. he he

Not 100% sure if the Bus 166 from victory monument  still go to Bangkok Immigration, But did early.

Only remember there is 2 Bus 166, one go to Pakked-Impact, and the other one out to Bangkok Immigration at Chaeng Wattana Rd.

Here is a map of Bangkok Immigration.

Kindly.

Thanks JJ for the feedback and the map! Well, I went there today and this is what happened.

- I took the taxi near BTS Mo Chit and it cost almost 200 baht. After considering BTS fare and all that, the total cost is around 250 baht from Siam area

- I did the address change and the 90 day report, and the whole process took around 2 hours. No issue with the address change, though I photocopied the lease agreement just in case

- When finished, I decided to take a taxi directly back to Siam area and the cost, including toll, was 240 baht, cheaper than taking a taxi from Mo Chit!

So guys, please follow JJ's advice about the bus if you stay near the city!

The normal price with a taxi from BTS Moo Chit is about 50-60% what you paid.

Yes, usually 110-120 baht from near the BTS, and can be quite quick if non rush hour.

I think there's a chance I got done by a dodgy meter. The traffic was pretty clear and the meter went up 120 baht in around 10 minutes. I was surprised too since I read that the cost is around 100 baht.

Not trying to throw anything out there which may not be true, but anyone have any experiences with dodgy meters around the Chutuchak area?
