Hi myself and my Thai wife are due to have our son later this year she is here on a visa and my son will be born here which means automatic citizenship in Australia

How do I go about registering his citizenship in thailand also

You both live in Australia?

 

 

The child will have Thai nationality also as the mother is Thai. Once you have the Australian birth certificate, the birth of the child mut be registered at the Thai embassy/consulate. Ther webiste will have more information.

When the birth is registered the child will get a Thai birth certificate, as proof of Thai nationality and can get a Thai passport if need be.

 

The Thai birth certificate will take a while.
