Tour buses create fear, loathing in Pattaya

Many of the larger tour bus companies appear to have employed many decent drivers IMO.

Most of the issues of speeding and rat running are caused by the cartoon buses, whos drivers have the factory run to Amata City ( About 50 K ) early in the morning, after picking up the workers at every tiny Soi of their residence around the town, race back to Pattaya after the factory workers have clocked on, then take a tour group to some attraction or another, in or around the town.

While the tourists are looking around, this is a break for the driver, who has parked the bus illegally due to the extortionate rate charged at the designated bus parks.

The driver will then pick up the tourists and take them across town for a buffet feast, and when this is complete he will take them back to the hotel / hotels.

After his tourists have disembarked, he will then race back to Amata City to pick up a load of workers and again race back to Pattaya where he will proceed to deposit them at every single little Soi where they live.

And as for the Mini Vans picking up the golfers and scent shop tourists - dont get me started.

What about taking photos of all agressive and posting on forum or facebook, is it illegal under stupid laws and rules?

This is a brilliant idea and one which I have also entertained.

Does anyone know if it is legal to do that here?

It is fine in other countries.

Please don't post them on our forum.  It is 100% against forum rules.  The defamation laws here are draconian.  If you do post on Facebook, make sure you properly protect yourself....
