I've pledged to improve my Thai to native level, and am wondering what news and blog sites, BBS and social networks the Thais use. (Note: I'll kill the first person who says, "Facebook.")

You see, I picked up some of the language from my mother as a child, so I have the 'base' and could intuit the meaning of a news article or listen to a conversation going on in the street. But my grasp of Thai is mostly passive, and my command is pretty poor - for instance, if I attempted to compose this post in Thai, I would probably make a linguistic mess and end up embarrassing myself.

I've known quite a few people who have never visited an anglophone country before, but had an excellent, native-level command of English without any discernible accent. Most of them were motivated by a wish to understand TV shows and films, troll us on our social networks, and play on game servers without looking like fools. Even though I imagine Thailand does not have anywhere near as significant a web presence as the United States, China, or Latin America, I figure that I should use the same learning method.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
