The Export Promotion Department calls on Thai businessmen to study trade cultures of other countries

The Export Promotion Department urges Thai businessmen and entrepreneurs to pay more attention to differences in trade cultures of different countries.

Paijit Wiboonthanasarn (ไพจิตร วิบูลย์ธนสาร), the department’s director of the Special Operations Office 2, said lack of understanding of the cultures of trade partners often has led to misunderstanding and caused communication problems.

Mr. Paijit said learning everything about the buyers is essential in trade negotiations. Business executives, therefore, should study trade cultures of other countries to ensure future business success, he said.

Taoism: shit happens

Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit

Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah

Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Studying Trade Cultures? Studying English will be a good start... Then answering email... then sticking to timelines... then saying there is problem when one arises, not when it is too late... :o
