Which embassy or consulate are able to provide "Non-O" Visa for being father of thai child

Featured Replies

Well,

in France, at Paris and also the Consulate in Marseille, it's impossible to obtain a visa of this kind because of being father of thai children.., even I was with my girlfriend, they're not issue the visa, even legitimisation. NO !

They told me the only issue, is I need to get married to my girlfriend !

So, any people who have experienced with that, and get succesfully ( or not ) should help many people here..

By the way, the only visa O, I get, it was in Vientiane for 3 months O, thai child. But it was in 2012.

But I would like to make it Europe, but the embassy require a residence proof, in make it in other country, right ?

Consider, even if you were to find it a consulate that does with no residency in Europe, you would get only 90 days, while travel and stay is expensive.

Better, in my opinion, that you get a tourist visa. That can extended for 60 days in Thailand with your child birth certificate. In the meanwhile you can obtain legalization (if you don't have it yet) and that will give you 12 months extension.

You could try a multiple entry non-o at one of the honorary consulates in Germany. Essen has been reported as being friendly.
