I do know a very good carpenter, but, he only accepts large jobs and charges like a wounded bull.

 

Anyone know a good carpenter that will accept a small job? Probably one to two days work.

There are different kinds of carpenters. rough carpenters for framing........finish carpenters for paneling/interior work.......door hangers......cabinet makers.....be more specific.......what kind of carpenter are you looking for ?   what exactly is the job ?

Any carpenter worth the name, works with wood and he can do anything you need him to do.

Surely it would have been in your interests just to humour the guy and give an idea of the type of work you need doing? Who knows, maybe he knows just the person you're looking for but I doubt he'll be inclined to help you now?
