PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Friday a 17 year old Cambodian Laborer was arrested at a constructors campsite in Jomtien following allegations he sexually assaulted a 5 year old girl at a construction site in North Pattaya.

It is suspected the sexual assault took place on 6th August at the site off the Naklua Road. The Cambodian parents of the girl would often leave their daughter alone to play within the confines of the site and saw her walk off with a fellow worker, Mr. Putra aged 17. Initially the parents thought nothing of it until they saw their daughter crying the following day.

At the campsite in Jomtien they purchased noodles for their daughter who refused the food and revealed in graphic detail how she had been attacked by Mr. Putra who was confronted and initially denied the allegations.

At this point Pattaya Police were called and arrested the man in the early hours of Friday.
