i am going for my first ED visa after 12 months of tourist visas (i am canadian).

i just want an option or 2 about with immigration would be easiest/best to reenter thailand at. the land border at the friendship bridge, or if i fly back in and deal with immigration at bkk suvamrburi (sp??) airport.

 

i hate the airport immigration is always crazy busy, but i dunno if with all the crackdowns if the land border will be a pain in the @55 too or no?

 

There is no crackdown for holders of valid visa.

 

Anyway, Savannakhet would give faster and better service. How do you get there and come back is only relevant to each one own means and location.
