Kittipong denies seeking transfer back to Office of Attorney General

BANGKOK: -- PM's advisor Kittipong Kittayarak Tuesday denied he has sought his transfer back to become Deputy Attorney General, saying he is still satisfied with his current post as an adviser to the Prime Minister.

Isranews website reported that a prosecutor had urged prosecutors nationwide to wear black to protest against Kittipong's return to the Office of the Attorney General. The prosecutor expressed concern that if Kittipong was transferred back, it would be tantamount to interference in official reshuffle.

"I insist that I'm satisfied with the role I choose to do and I believe it would benefit to justice system and the country I love. I have no desire to take for other posts," Kittipong wrote on his Facebook.

He said he also has more responsibilities in other local and international organizations like an adviser for Thailand Institute of Justice as well as a core member of Reform Now Network.
