Because its edge on dtac ,slow speed, if you dont know then find out.AIS has Faster 3G and a lowest speed of 384 kpbs

Without getting into the ins-and-outs of the claims for speed by ISP's, my experience when sitting beside AIS users is that my Dtac is better. There are so many things that govern the performance - not least of which is what else your device is doing in the background while you are trying to chat in LINE wink.png

uhhh? Nonsense! if you want to use anecdotal evidence. I know DTAC users who have switched to AIS and find it a far superior service and network coverage, me included. The device used will "govern any performance" using applications.

No its not, DTAC gives 3G at those prices but only 384kbps as per AIS when the minimal caps of higher speeds are met. In other words there is no difference between both AIS & DTAC services and saying dump DTAC for AIS is without merit imho. 'nuff said.

I don't think its safe to make a blanket statement that X telco is better than Y, in relation to their coverage and speed performance. Advertised speeds rarely natch actual speeds. I have SIMs from all three telcos and in the parts of Thailand I've been in, mostly dtac and true are better. I've also been to places where there's no signal for dtac and true, and AIS is the only game in town. I don't think any of us have exactly identical itineraries, so its really pointless to assert this. The good news is that the prepaid SIMs are really pretty cheap and its not that difficult to keep more than one, to try out in the places you go to, to come to a conclusion as to what works best for you.

(In my case, dtac :-)

Some worm or virus has turned ON my Drac data usage and maxed out the credit for the past two months---and half used it this month--- before i discovered it again.

I called Dtac and jokingly told the call center that the might as well increase my cred limit to a million baht and chew up the lot every month. Of course the guy didn't 'get it ' and said he was only authorized to increase it to 10,000

I've been using Dtac for 8 years- but now all of a sudden some one is getting very 'hungry'

I will now have to spend several hours documenting as asking for a refund
