freedomnow
So I have lived in Thailand 2 years and several months on a tourist visa.... I meant to get an education visa in December but got one last double tourist visa instead (my mistake) Will it possible that I get refused entry at the immigration point from Vientiane/Nong Khai even if the consulate issues me an ed. visa in Laos after looking at my passport and their records ?? Do I need 20,000 Baht in hand and an onward flight even for ed. visa entry to Thailand overland ?
inbangkok
I just received my paperwork for my ED Visa as well. I also have a tourist Visa. My school told me there is no foreseeable reason why we would not be allowed in once we obtain out ED visas. However, anything is possible. ubonjoe
You will not have problem entering with your non-ed visa. You have nothing to worry about there is no crackdown that affects those with valid visas.
