KhunBENQ
Why would you go to PP just to use another entry (of your TR visa I guess)? Or is PP a must see? One of the most complicated and expensive border runs from KK. A quick drive to Nong Kai can be dirt cheap, e.g. with the Lao bus going from KK to Vientiane. phuketrichard
Fly to Bangkok- Than air asia over to PP or sr OR take a bus to surin, taxi to the border, cross at Osmach, and reverse note they will charge you an extra 300 baht if you dont stay the night in Cambodia Plus the $20 or 1,000 baht visa fee
KhunBENQ
take a bus to surin, taxi to the border, cross at Osmach, Yep, another route. I personally would prefer Nong Khai to Laos. 244 GBP: AirAsia DMK to PP return available below 6000 Baht. KK to DMK return about 2500 Baht, ThaiSmile just about 2000 Baht. Total about 8500 Baht, 160 GBP. Flights have to be booked separately anyway. Exact prices vary much on date and time. Stil a lot for just getting a stamp (if thats your intention). Even a flight to Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia is cheaper to buy than PP. Edited August 18, 2014 by KhunBENQ

wayned
If you're on a tourist visa, you should extend it for 30 days at immigration, cost 1900 baht, before doing the next entry unless it's about to expire!
aarn
Cheapest would be to hitch-hike (very practically in LoS, I am informed...), but as Wayned says <<If you're on a tourist visa, you should extend it for 30 days at immigration, cost 1900 baht>>. asanee
that would be by bus, and asyou have to pass the notorious Poipet border, I doubt if ist doable in 1 day. Bus to Khorat, bus to Aran )mostly Vans, direct, Mornings), border, then whatever you find-fancy for onward- check canbypublications. It may be worthwhile to use an overnite bus to BKK-Mochit then a very early direct bus, at 7.00 or 7.30- to arr by very late evening IF you can pretend to be Thai, can use the free 3d cl Trains, but thats also via BKK aND TAKES EVEN LONGER
KhunBENQ
Why the h... should one do such nasty trips from Khon Kaen to Bangkok, Poipet whatever to get a stamp?? Nong Khai is an easy 2 h ride from Khon Kaen on a four lane road. But the topic starter does not seem to care anyway, Dead thread.
