Non - B visas in Ranong

Featured Replies

I'v been to Penang recently and received my Non-B visa, they told me i need to come back next time with my work permit and the same paperwork to complete it...

Do I have to go to Penang again or can this be done at Ranong to save time and money??

With your work permit and paperwork from your employer you could get an one year extension of stay at your local immigration office.

If not you would have to go back to Penang to get a multiple entry non-b visa that would give you 90 day entries for a year.

You could not do anything in Ranong unless that is where your immigration office is.

I already have the multiple-entry non-b visa...my problem is i don't know where the closest point is that i can get my stamps. I just want to know if they will do it in Ranong or not

Your post made it appear that you only got a single entry because you wrote that the consulate told you to come back with your work permit.

What you are needing to do is leave the country, return and get a new 90 day entry.

That can normally be done in Ranong or at the Andaman club crossings. But I am not aware of the current status of doing it there. At one time they were turning people away.

But wherever you go be sure you take your work permit with you to show immigration if they ask for it.
