Just a simple letter in English in which she confirms that you are still married and asks for a visa for you so you can visit here.

For purpose it would be to visit her. Basically she shoud be requesting they issue you a visa.

To prove you are still married she could get an up to date Kor Ror 2 marriage registry from an Amphoe and attach it to the letter.

I got my Non O marriage Visa in LA also, my wife wrote the letter in Thai on an email, I printed it sent it in with all documents, they were happy with it. Good luck.

The Kor Ror 2 can only be asked for at an Amphoe. It costs 20 baht for a printout of it. Your husband could then scan it and send it to you by email.

Since the LA consulate has Thai staff the letter could be in Thai.

are they requiring these Kor Ror 2 now in LA? I have "the" letter signed no problem. thank so so much

The Kor Ror 2 was just a suggestion as additional proof that you are still married. They will not ask for it.
