Pronouce as Phak - salad- nam

I also have PHAK NAM (ผักน้ำ) and SALAT NAM (สลัดน้ำ) listed as WATERCRESS.

Are these correct also?

For speaking you can say Phak-Nam or Salad-Nam,They are the same meaning.

Dear TVeronica,

I guess you mean that they are informal expressions. I am making a dictionary. Do you think that I should leave them out?

Perhaps I will include them, with '(informal)' indicated. What is your opinion?

You might be interested that I bought some watercress today at a Big C in Lamphun.........called 'watercress' in Thai. Grown in Songkhla. ......19 baht a pack.

Fancy that eh!
