Regular Fly-in fly-out

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm about to start flying in and out of Bangkok every 3 weeks or so due to my offshore work schedule and staying for about 2 1/2 weeks each entry (So basically 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off). My partner is based in Bangkok, so I'll be flying in on my time-off.

Do you think I'll have any issues entering via the airport on a visa exemption stamp so frequently considering the recent tightening of visa enforcement? There may even be additional international travel during each trip to Thailand adding to the entries.

I'm Australian by the way.

I obviously won't be staying longer than permitted and I will be able to show confirmed return flights, but not hotel bookings as I'll be staying with my girlfriend. I don't have any previous visa exemption stamps, but I do have a very recent double entry tourist visa that's close to ending and I did have a non-immigrant category F (official) 1 year visa before that, so there's a history of many many previous entries into Thailand.

Any body else have a similiar situation to this?

Thanks in advance.

You will not fit the profile of a in/out visa runner so you will not have a problem.

Only those that that stay for the full 30 days and go out and return for another 30 day entry will have a problem.
