BKKdreaming
I wanted to buy some things from China thru Alibaba.com, Ebay etc is there a magic number where it will go thru Thai Customs with no duty ? this is all cheap stupid stuff and the value is 20-100 baht per item , total value would be how many pieces I bought.....So if there was some magic number to stay under I could do that. And if it does get stuck in Thai customs can you just not pay the fee and Customs just keeps the item and does not try and come after you for the money ? Thanks for your ideas
yermanee
Have it send by china mail. The delivery address preferably to a Thai person (wife - girlfriend). Have bought numerous items from Aliexpress this way, never had any problems. Yermanee
Crossy
China has a FTA with Thailand, whilst this officially needs specific paperwork to be duty exempt all my Chinese purchases, even the ones shipped via TNT have avoided duty. YMMV of course.
96tehtarp
I have never been dinged from China. If they ever try to ding me I'll refuse delivery. Post from Hong Kong or China works fine for me.
