90 day- report.. 15 days before OK?

Featured Replies

As the titles says can I make it 15 days before the date I'm supposed to do it. ? Have a problem with me travel logistic..

Very unlikely 15 days, are you travelling in Thailand?

You can post your 90 day form with a self addressed envelope about a week prior to the due date.

You are allowed to do it 15 days early.

Yes, 15 days before or 7 after, if reporting personally.

As far as posting one's 90-day report, you must send it off at least 15 days before it's due, not a week.

Sure...up to 15 days before is fine...or up to 7 days after. Below is a cut and paste from the Bangkok Immigration website regarding the 90 day reporting time period.

Re: 15 days before, or 7 days after does not need be done personally , it can be done by the Thai wife, or girl friend, or other people acting on your behalf.

Thanks a lot for the replies.. a pint of beer, a cup of tea, a glass of water or whatever to You all :)

Better check with your local immigration office. Mine will only allow me to do it 7 days before and not after.

Yes, local Immigration offices have sometimes different small application procedures.

but be aware that if you report 15 days before then you effectively lose the 15 days and the next 90 day report is from the date you reported - not really important but I thought I'd mention it anyway

I never noticed this before. Just checked my July report date, which was 2 weeks before due. You are absolutely correct, smedly.

Sorry to hijack your threads but

Lets say you need to report december 5 but you will leave the country and fly back home on december 20 and ed visa expire on december 22

would the be any problems leaving/coming back after a month with a tourist visa when you skipped to do your last 90 days report?

They don't check for 90 day reports at the airport.

sounds good, but still would it be a problem when you extend your tourist visa or apply for a new ed visa on a different location?

Certainly not for a tourist visa extension. Maybe for an ED extension but not likely.
