90 Day Address Reporting

I just like to relate my recent experience.

Have done the reporting by mail (EMS) to Suan Plu for the past years, mailed the papers 5-7 days before due date and got everything back 2-3 days after due date without problems.

This time was different: due date March 1, mailed by EMS on Feb.23, by March 8 no papers back yet.

On March 8 my wife phoned room 401 and was told all is OK and the next due date is June 1. The Imm lady said they mailed it back on March 3 and if it is lost in the mail all I would have to do for the next reporting is to attach a note that it was lost and if possible a copy of the previous reporting slip and a copy of the EMS slip and receipt. ----KEEP COPIES of anything you mail!---- I do keep copies.

Then on March 9 the papers did arrive but the reporting slip was stamped as issued on March 4 and NO DATE was mentioned when to report again! The postmark clearly shows it has been mailed on March 6. Do they work on a Saturday now as well?

Looks like a foul-up at Suan Plu Room 401.

In the future I'll mail A.R. This way I'll have evidence that they got it.
