The Industry Ministry is going forward with its plan to bolster technology and human resource development in 10 industries

The Ministry of Industry is going forward with its plan to bolster technology and human resource development in 10 industries to compete on the global stage.

The Office of Industrial Economics Director, Dr. Atshaka Seeboonrreung Brimble (ดร.อรรชกา สีบุญเรือง บริมเบิล), stated that the Industry Ministry aims to enhance 10 industries in Thailand, which are competitive in both national and global markets, comprising automobile parts, furniture, rubber, fashion, ceramic, electrical appliances, steel, machineries and drugs. He added that each industry will meet specific needs, particularly in highly competitive businesses such as automobile and garment.

The government agencies and educational institutions will join together in uplifting qualify of workforce and technology to meet the needs of industrialists.

Dr. Atshaka also said that the development plan is now already underway and it is expected to happen before the end of next year.
