" Smart Classroom" Plans Cancelled & More About Educational Area xxx Offices..

Just conducted a seminar for our educational area xxxx office and had to verbally test them all on Monday.

There're some very interesting points, that might be important to know for the teaching folks. And for those who have kids at Thai government schools.

As the headline already shows, the smart classroom plans are on ice now.

Each educational area xxx has at least one employee, working for the Khurusapha, might be great to ask for advice, if something goes wrong with your provisional license, as it's pretty often a topic here.

If parents really have a problem with a beating teacher, it's the right place to report that teacher to stop that. And they will stop....

We all know how impertinent some school directors are/can be. In addition to a high tuition fee, there're always meetings, where they're always asking for more money, for example to buy some new computers and other nonsense.

Instead of trying to complain to anybody from that particular school, it makes more sense to see them and explain their wrongdoing.

There's even a one stop service and I have to say that I was really impressed about their information.

Thanks for sharing. The one time we tried to ask sauch an office a question, their attorney could not speak English. How was their English? Were you teachign the whole Regional Education Area XXX office, or just a select few employees?

To be honest, their English was/is not really good, if you know what I mean. The seminar was for all of them, including the director.

75 people are working at this office in seven different departments. Same setup at all other offices.

If you really need advice and you can't communicate in Thai, just take a Thai/English speaking person with you.

What about if a farang teacher really has a problem with a "beating teacher"? Are such area offices prepared to intervene in their own schools about child abuse aka teachers who whip children?

Just in my opinion a much better option than "visiting" the director of that school. Yep, also sexual abuse of kids, which is not uncommon here.

The directors of those educational area xxx offices are usually not stupid, well educated and will have to do something.
