Ed visa extension

My friend's daughter is studying in regular school ( senior secondary class) her visa is expiring in a week and school need some more time to prepare her documents so she can apply for new education visa to continue her study.

My question is that, can she apply for extension for one week from immigration office ? She is an american passport holder.

She can apply for a 7 day extension, pay 1900 baht and be given 7 days to leave or apply for another type of extension.

Thanks for your reply mr ubonjoe. One more thing, she need to appear in immigration office or her parents can do it by themselves?

Ask the immigration office. Officially a person must appear in person, but see if they make an exception.
