luk kreung, can I have citizenship or I am only alien?

Recommended Posts

I regularly work on retrieving lost citizenship to people who were born in Thailand and then adopted and have lived for 30 or more years outside of Thailand.

Some of them were literally picked up off the street went into an orphanage and only have a nick name like Noi on the adoption papers and in their passport.

There is always a paper trail to follow even after 30 plus years.

Your case is different in that you must find the name of the person who was your biological father and have a Thai government certified DNA test with him and your mother.

Once you know who this man is and if he is prepared to sign for you, your problems are less!

But he already has a legal father. It might very well mean that he must renounce his Italian father as being his legal father ansd going to court to have his biological father being declared his legal father, before he can make a claim for Thai citizenship though being born by a Thai father.

Hi, some users made statements and considerations about my private life that have no reason to be done, please stop. You just don't know facts of my life, my childhood, or my emotional state. Thank you.
Also, I didn't post this in order to decide what to do in my life, I only posted my story in order to understand if there were something I could do for my Thai citizenship AND I did originally post it in the section Ask a Lawyer!!! For some reasons , even if the question is OBVIOUSLY legal and technical, the Admin moved it in this other section, where I did have some good suggestions even if not specialist, but after that my private life is being talked about by people with little to no clue of the legal matter for which I originally posted.

I don't want to seem rude, but I'm more and more upset about what is going on, as I originally seeked legal advice and I am now being a little too much under the spotlights, I already asked the Admin to remove the thread (once again, my fault, I wrote too much about myself and I am sorry), I hope this will be possible. I hope someone of the staff will be reading this.

Thanks.

it does not seem right that you act so offended here. For one you haven't been told anything that justifies your reaction, and I think you understand that when you post to a public forum, public discussion is what you can aspect. That was directly caused by your preamble that spoke openly about your story and feelings, if you had omitted that people would have just gave you the short answer: at this time you have no basis whatsoever to make a citizenship claim.

"...and I think you understand that when you post to a public forum, public discussion is what you can aspect."

The OP didn't post in an area that allows discussion. Someone moved the post to where it is now.

I assume that even though that section says all posts will be answered within 24 hours, there are a lot of posts at least several weeks old that haven't been answered. Too difficult to answer?
