PATTAYA – September 13, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; Mr. Chawalit Praditpruek (Head of Koh Larn Sub-district) revealed the progress of reregulating of beach operators in area of Ban Koh Larn community, Pattaya city, Chonburi province. The reregulating came about after a video clip of a Thai male operator kicking sand over a female tourist who was sitting on the beach and not on his chairs at Nang Nuan beach. Therefore, Amphur Banglamung together with Pattaya city, Military Circle 14, Harbour Department and related officers had together rushed to inspect all business operations on Koh Larn beach where they found operator breaking the rules. The officers had inspected and reregulated the business operations on Koh Larn beach by using the statue of regulation in an Administration Act of Pattaya city.

The reregulation of the workplace on Koh Larn beach has been completed within 3 days and the officers have defined the space on of each of the 78 operators on all 7 beaches on Koh Larn that consist of Ta Waen beach, Nuan beach, Samae beach, Tien beach, Ta Yai beach, Sang Wan beach and Thong Larng beach.
