Windows 8.1 Temporary Internet Files

I want to view a web page with an embedded flashplayer which calls a Flash animation (*.swf file). In Windows XP I can go to temporary internet files and find the flash video. Where can I find the video in Windows 8.1?

I have tried the Internet Options and searching the hard drive with no success. I thought I have done this in the past, but if I did, how I did it escapes me now.

thanks for any help.

I think I got it.... I turned off PROTECTED MODE and then I could find the files, although I was still access denied to the actual Temporary Internet Files folder. I still found the flash video in InetCach folder.

Some browser add ons will allow you to play and record the file while saving it to a folder in another format like mp4 etc. much easier then dealing with cache files.

Thanks!

Have you used any of these add-ons that you would recommend?

I have recently looked at some conversion programs and did not find any that I liked.

In particular what I would like to do is capture the "shapes" from a flash animation (swf) file, so that I work with them as jpg or gif files in Photoshop Elements.

Then you need to save the file as swf for the frames. I use firefox and if you search add on tab you will find one that will save the file as you watch it. Not sure about IE add ons never use it.

Thank you again.

I use the Nightly builds of Firefox. I found an add-on for that. I have to learn how to use it now.

Thanks for your help.
