How to propose to your Thai girlfriend.

Mine could read and write English very well at the time, but was still struggling to learn to converse in English.

At that time, if we needed to discus anything of real importance, we would sit with a piece of paper and pencils and write our conversation down

I wrote, " Will you marry me and become my wife?"

She wrote, " I need to ask my Mother."

It was cute....I saved the paper.

Ma said " O.K." !

13 years later...it is still O.K., and the wife speaks English too well now!
