Anyone heard or know about bars selling 25 baht sangsom cokes?? if so they better make way because im gonna glue myself to their bar stool till the next eon or kidney failure which ever one comes first.

If the drinks are 25baht I'd imagine there will not be many thrills.

There was a bar at the top of New Plaza that sold local whisky for THB 10 on Tuesday and Thursday. Not being a drinker unsure if its still there or still doing it. Paddys in Klang was always a cheap place also.

Is crazy Daves still open , that was a bit cheap to say the least

Just to be pedantic.....SangSom is actually "Special Rum" not whisk(e)y - look at the bottle! Yes I know Thais refer to most spirit drinks as whisk(e)y....never understood why though?

And yes it is vile stuff....but I love it.........with Sprite!

I imagine 25 baht is not going to give you a full shot. In fact, I've been told that by bar workers. So if you like Coke, have at it. New Plaza would fulfill your dreams.

As has been said rum & coke @ 25 baht is a good deal. I used to like Mekhong whisky with sprite until it disappeared off all shelves except at BKK.

yeah, crazy Daves has a sang som set for 250b which I am sure you can get more than 10 drinks out of it

I don't drink it - in fact my mate asked me to get him a bottle of decent rum (well, so he thinks) at mcr airport and I have still managed to keep my hands off that and its been over 2 months
