Hi,

The getting visas in the region section has a post about Manila, but from 2012. I wonder if anyone else has been and got a visa there more recently?

I will be visiting anyway (but 50% of reason that has swung me to visit it to get a TV at the ame time) and thought may be ok to get a Tourist Visa there.

I have several non b's and extensions, and some TV in my passport. Currently I am coming to the end of a TV plus one month extension, which was issued in KL and extended at Phuket Immigration.

I get my funds from third parties as and when in Thailand, so the bank account may be an issue. Is it a problem if I get a transfer of sufficent funds in before I go or will it look too obvious?

Also how much is enough?

Regarding flights, I have no idea when I will leave (ie what day/date) so can not book a flight to show them. What to do in this case???

Any help much appreciated.

From some recent posts they will want to see a ticket out. Even a 2 entry is possible if you a have ticket out for each entry.

You could just buy a low cost one way ticket to nearby county to show them.

You could move some money in if you wanted to. I cannot see doing it shortly before you apply being a problem.

Thanks Ubonjoe

I have never had a double entry..how does it work? Has to be within how long ? Land border run possible?

and is it possible to get the one month extension on the end in both cases?

You can do a border run to use the 2nd entry. You can get an extension for both entries but you have to be careful that you use the 2nd entry before the visa expires (enter before date).

Vientiane or Savannakhet Laos also does 2 entry visas and do not ask for tickets or financial proof.
