If you have "stuff" that needs to be removed surgically, lumps, tumors and beyond, the good doctor is excellent, simply walk into ER at RAM and make an appointment based on his working days/hours, found here: http://www.chiangmairam.com/NEW%20CMR/Physician%20Eng/Surgical%20Clinic%20Eng%20.html Excellent English language skills, great demeanor and very professional, he's the doctor I always go to when a scalpel is involved. Today's episode involved removal of a painful surface "thingy", origin unknown until biopsy reports, seven stitches, biopsy, five days of wound dressings and removal of the stitches, THB 4,250 or £80, Time in to time out, 1.7 hours. It should be noted that he is a general surgeon who does a lot more than tumor removal. I believe that he is Head of Surgery on the CMU Faculty and practices at Maharaj/Sripat as well. chiang mai Posted September 30, 2014 Author Share Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) Indeed I did understate Dr Trichak's credentials, thanks MG for pointing that out, he is in fact Head of the Surgery Department at CMU and his areas of expertise include liver, pancreas and the endocrine system, aka, thyroid +. But I think it's great that we can find doctors of that skill level, in the ER fixing relatively simple wounds/concerns, this is my third time under his knife and it's only recently that I have fully understood what his his standing and skill set is. Nice to hear as I am booked in with the same good doctor for exactly the same op October 8. He's not there Thursday or Sunday. Get there early (4-30) and take a number. Love your road names. Is his clinic before or after Irish Pub road? If I read the map supplied by the Irish Pub, it's before that road - no signs in English however and the clinic is quite small.
