Kabula
For many years I've heard positive results in Europe with alternative, Oxidation medical Therapy. More and more similar clinics are now found in the U.S. I would to hear from members who have had these type of treatments or similar intravenous type therapies to avoid surgery and their experiences, both positive and negative. Please include your expenses. This alternative therapy treats, Pulmonary, Infectious diseases, and Immune disorders. Other miscellaneous treatments are for Parkinsonism, Alzheimer, Migraine headaches, Chronic pain syndromes, Pain of Metastatic Carcinoma an Blood and Lymph Node Cancers. With many worldwide viruses spreading currently, these therapies also strengthen the immune system to fight off infection. I've been checking out a Bangkok clinic, Absolute Health. Also, has anyone experienced Intravenous therapy for cancer? Many have experienced excellent results utilizing Vitamin C, Sodium Bicarbonate, (Baking Soda) and Hydrogen Peroxide drip therapies. Of course Medical Doctors always point their thumbs down at any alternative therapies, however the worldwide stats currently reveal hundreds of thousands die from prescription drugs. Extensive research confirms Oxidation does cure many diseases without surgery. Kabula
Been there, done it Don't work worth a shit Coulda spent the $45,000 on hookers & drugs--MUCH better value... Did you go to absolute health? May I ask what the treatment was for? Most treatments are TB 1000 per visit. Are you saying you made 45 visits? That doesn't sound right?? noahvail
1) Linus Pauling, Ph.D., was well-known in the '70s-'90s as an advocate for megadoses of vitamin C as the cure for many diseases, including cancer. He was quite thoroughly debunked by his own partner in research who showed that megadoses of vitamin C actually caused sqaemous-cell carcinomas in mice. Really, ask Pauling...oh wait, he died in 1994 - of prostate cancer. 2) Sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda, is promoted by some alternative practitioners as a cancer treatment. This treatment is based on the theory that cancer is caused by a form of yeast infection and that sodium bicarbonate can kill the yeast. This claim is not supported by science or clinical evidence and is contrary to widely-accepted basic facts of oncology and microbiology. 3) Here's what the American Cancer Society says, in part, about Hydrogen Peroxide therapies: Oxygen Therapy Other common name(s): oxygenation therapy, hyperoxygenation, bio-oxidative therapy, oxidative therapy, ozone therapy, autohemotherapy, hydrogen peroxide therapy, oxidology, oxymedicine, germanium sesquioxide Scientific/medical name(s): O3 (ozone), H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) Description Oxygen therapy introduces substances into the body that are supposed to release oxygen. The extra oxygen is believed to increase the body's ability to destroy disease-causing cells. Two of the most common compounds used in oxygen therapy are hydrogen peroxide and ozonea chemically active form of oxygen. This type of treatment is different from the common medical uses of oxygen, which involve increasing the amount of oxygen gas in inhaled air. It is also different from hyperbaric oxygen, which involves the use of pressurized oxygen gas (see our document on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy). Overview Available scientific evidence does not support claims that putting oxygen-releasing chemicals into a person's body is effective in treating cancer. Some types of oxygen treatment may even be dangerous; there have been reports of serious illness and death from hydrogen peroxide. Ozone is a strong oxidant that can damage cells, and has also caused deaths. Use of ozone or peroxide in small amounts under controlled conditions for treating limited parts of the body has shown some success in mainstream medical research studies. http://www.cancer.org/treatment/treatmentsandsideeffects/complementaryandalternativemedicine/pharmacologicalandbiologicaltreatment/oxygen-therapy Mods, this is a complicated area rife with quackery. And he was all his life a hardcore chemist, working with dangerous and cancerous chemicals. Usually such people don't live long. The Vitamin C thing is still discussed and many scientists support it. But not as wonderdrug. Megadoses can help a little bit on recovery. Megadoses after a cancer treatment can make the recovery a bit faster....but not replacing the treatment. The others O2 and bicarbonate are pure hocus pokus.......

CobraSnakeNecktie
A lot of athletes receive Intervenous vitamins composed of high doses of Vit C, B's, glutathione, bicarbonate, minerals, electrolytes etc. I have tried them and it rapidly speeds recovery and significantly improves stamina and performance. Extremely common in many sports like cycling, MMA, endurance etc. Additionally the IV's cocktails are helpful to enhance rehydration which in itself is really noticeable and helpful. Increasingly Vit IV's are being used by celebrities and the wealthier types for anti aging and general quality of life. Seems ambitious to claim it cures specific diseases but it definitely gets performance back on track. If a person can afford it then IMO a no brainer for assisting other therapies or just the natural healing process.

Already noted in post #10 and acknowledged in post #11. Using the anecdotal evidence of Pauling living to 93, I can also offer the anecdotal evidence of my paternal grandmother who smoked cigars every day, had a couple or three highballs every evening, moved cross-country at 95, moved back at 97, lived to be 102 and was completely sentient until two days before her death. Every year, she re-read the complete works of Shakespeare and the Bible because she, in her words, "got something more out of them every time I read them." I guess she was doing something right as well, even though it was pretty much the opposite of Pauling

A lot of athletes use them to recover quicker from injury. Oxygen therapy and vitamin C infusions while not necessarily a cure for cancer or any disease for that matter probably improve quality and length of life in people with chronic illnesses. There is quite a bit of research on vitamin C and improvements in length of life of cancer patients. In fact you can get liposomal vitamin C and make your own vitamin C these days to cut costs.
CobraSnakeNecktie
^^ exactly.. I have experimented with Lipo C and its life changing. Lipo C is much cheaper and convenient than IV treatments and not everybody is comfortable with needles. Here is commercial version of Lipo C. It's even better than DIY Lipo C but not as cost effective. I dare anybody to try it for a week or two and not be blown away. http://www.livonlabs.com/cgi-bin/start.cgi/liposome-encapsulated/lypo-spheric-vitamin-c.html Edited October 4, 2014 by CobraSnakeNecktie
